longfin boarfish except it has a more roundeddorsal fin without protruding rays, and six dark brown vertical stripes on a whitish background, one of which extends on to thepelvic fin with the other fins bright yellow.Juveniles have much longer anal, dorsal, and
pelvic fin s than the adults and are white in colour with a close set pattern of large black spots.References
