Lancashire , there are a number oflisted buildings and recognised ancient monuments in the villages including Ringley Bridge, the village stocks, Kearsley Mill, St Saviour's Church & Clock Tower and the large stone railway bridge on the Manchester to Bolton line. The disusedManchester, Bolton and Bury Canal also passes through this area.Stoneclough today is mostly residential where most of the old industry was situated. These industrial sites included the Kearsley Paper Works owned by Robert Fletcher and Sons and
Kearsley Power Station located on Hulme Road. These have both since been demolished.Public Houses
There are five pubs in the area around Stoneclough, The Hare and Hounds, The Grapes and The Market Street Tavern are all located on Market Street. The Horseshoe and The Lord Nelson are located in Ringley opposite each other across the river.
