Bruckner Orchestra Linz

The Bruckner Orchestra Linz (German: "Bruckner Orchester Linz") is one of the leading orchestras in Austria, situated in the city of Linz. It is especially associated with the music of Linz-Land native Anton Bruckner.

The orchestra acquired its current name in 1967, under conductor and musicologist Kurt Wöss. It was formerly the Linz Theater Orchestra. It has made many recordings of Bruckner symphonies, especially with guest conductor Kurt Eichhorn.
