Yaesu FT-847

The Yaesu FT-847 was known as the "Earth Station" according to sales literature [http://www.yaesu.com/downloadFile.cfm?FileID=620&FileCatID=154&FileName=FT%2D847.pdf&FileContentType=application%2Fpdf] and the company's web site [ [http://www.yaesu.com/indexVS.cfm?cmd=DisplayProducts&ProdCatID=102&encProdID=1F9F41E47B926F9590C43C638C5EFD00&DivisionID=65&isArchived=1 Welcome to Yaesu.com ] ] . Yaesu introduced the FT-847 in 1998 as a replacement for the then discontinued FT-736 VHF/UHF Satellite transceiver, with production ending in 2005 [ [http://www.rigpix.com/yaesu/ft847.htm RigPix Database - Yaesu - FT-847 ] ] .
