Fred Hiatt

Fred Hiatt

Fred Hiatt is the editorial page editor of "The Washington Post".

Hiatt reported for the Washington Star until its purchase by the "Washington Post" in 1981. As a "Post" reporter, Hiatt had stints in Japan and Russia. He is married to Margaret Shapiro, an editor of the Post Magazine.
