Pure Software

Pure Software was founded in October 1991 by Reed Hastings, who later founded Netflix and continues to serve as Netflix's CEO. It was originally designed solely around a debugging tool for engineers called Purify. After consistently doubling its revenue every year for four years, Pure Software went public with the help of Morgan Stanley in August 1995. [cite web
