Susam Sokağı is the Turkish adaptation of
children's television program "Sesame Street ". It was aired on weekday mornings 9:00 a.m./8:00 central on TRT, the state television in Turkey, between late 1980s and early 1990s. It involved a street design in a studio, and original Sesame Street material, translated and adapted.Characters

**Edi ve Büdü: Adaptation ofErnie andBert . Taken from the idiom "Edi ve Büdü", based on a folktale, which is used for two people getting along good, particularly used for older couples.
