Fanwood, also known as Fanwood-Scotch Plains, is a New Jersey Transit railroad station on the Raritan Valley Line, in Fanwood, New Jersey. The building on the north side of the tracks (westbound platform) is a Victorian building and, like the north building at Westfield, is used by a non-profit organization. The ticket office is in the station building on the south side of the tracks (eastbound platform).

Location and zone

Fanwood station is located slightly more than 34.6km (21.5mi) from New York Penn Station, placing it in Zone 9 of the New Jersey Transit rail zone system. Other stations in Zone 9 include Summit, New Providence, Ridgewood, Westwood, Hillsdale, and Avenel.
