John McTernan (actor)

John McTernan is an American-born, Australian-based actor, known for several television roles.

In 1977 he briefly portrayed Rob Forsyth during the final year of soap opera "Number 96". Rob was Don Finlayson's last boyfriend in the series and one who was ultimately revealed as a psychopathic murderer. McTernan later became better known through long running continuing roles in TV drama series "Cop Shop" and "G.P." He subsequently appeared during the closing episodes of "Prisoner" in 1986.

More recently he has appeared in "All Saints", "Blue Heelers", "Stingers" and "Something in the Air".
