Tienhoven (coord|51|58|N|4|56|E|type:city(230)) is a village in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Zederik, and lies about 10 km southwest of IJsselstein.
The statistical area "Tienhoven", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 230.[Statistics Netherlands (CBS), [http://statline.cbs.nl/ "Statline: Kerncijfers wijken en buurten 2003-2005"] . As of January 1, 2005.] ]Tienhoven was a separate municipality between 1817 and 1986, when it became part of Zederik.
