Samantha Fox (born Stacia Micula on December 3 1951, in New York City) is an American actress and porn star.

Career

Samantha Fox appeared in over 100 pornographic films between 1977 and 1984.

Fox won on two occasions the Adult Film Association of America Best Actress awards, in 1979 for "Jack 'n' Jill, Part 1", and in 1980 for "This Lady Is a Tramp".

In 1984, she quit hardcore pornography, and began to appear in sexploitation films such as "Warrior Queen" (1987) under her birth name.

In 2003, Fox was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame.

Personal life

Samantha Fox met her long term companion, porn actor Bobby Astyr (b. 1940 – d. 2002), on a movie set in 1978. The two lived in adjoining apartments in New York City's East Village until Astyr died of lung cancer in 2002.
