- Echuca High School
Echuca High School was a mid-sized government secondary school located in the town of
Echuca in south-easternAustralia , functioning between 1903 and 2005.Located to the north of Echuca's business district, the Echuca High School campus was situated at the end of Crofton Street and next to the
Campaspe River . Sections of its facilities, particularly the sports fields, were prone to occasionalflooding .The school had a typical student enrolment in the 600s, catering from students between the ages of 12-18. The school motto was 'Play the Game' and its emblem featured two crossed
boomerangs .In 2004 a merger was initiated with the town's other secondary school,
Echuca Secondary College , with a long-term view of educating all Echuca's state secondary students on one site. The new school will be known asEchuca College and will be located at Echuca Secondary College's larger and more recently constructed Collage Drive campus. In 2006,Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) classes are continuing at the former Echuca High School site on Crofton Street, however this site will be retired in 2008.External links
