Philadelphia ,Pennsylvania ,United States , is aGothic Revival style mansion designed by renowned 19th centuryarchitect Frank Furness . The house was completed in 1881 and was named after John Knowles, Rhawn's wife's great-grandfather. It initially served as the residence of Philadelphia bankerWilliam Rhawn , for whom Rhawn Street is named, and later served as the residence for Robert McCray Green, who reputedly invented the ice cream soda.The mansion is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Today the mansion serves as the home to Conroy Catering.
