Athletics
The Haverford School is a member of the Inter Academic Athletic Association, the country's oldest inter-scholastic athletic conference.
Notable faculty
* Donald Grey Brownlow - An army intelligence major in WWII, Brownlow received a purple heart and Bronze Star, as well as the French Croix de Guerre. He fought at Utah Beach, the Battle of the Bulge and Ardeness. Brownlow taught history at Haverford for 55 years, and was the author of 10 books on Military history.
