In 2000, she performed at
London 'sWigmore Hall , and in the same year she was appointed official harpist to the Prince of Wales. It was the first time the royal family had accorded such an honour since the reign of Queen Victoria. In 2003, Finch married Hywel Wigley, son of politician
Dafydd Wigley and prominent harpistElinor Bennett , her former teacher. The couple live inGwaelod-y-Garth , nearCardiff . On28 December 2007 , Finch gave birth to a baby girl, Ana Gwen.
