Gerard Windsor (born
29 December 1944 ) is an Australian author and literary critic. He wasdux ofSt Ignatius' College, Riverview in both 1961 and 1962, where, likeJustin Fleming , he was taught byMelvyn Morrow . He was a Jesuit from ages of 18 to 24. From there he studied arts atAustralian National University andSydney University , before a short stint in a medical course. He has been a writer ever since, publishing eight books, including fiction, compilations of essays, andmemoir s.
