Smuggler (production company)

SMUGGLER is a production company founded in 2002 by Patrick Milling Smith and Brian Carmody. Last year Smuggler launched Honeyshed, which appeared at the Sundance Festival where the short film "Force 1", created for eBay, was a selection. They have also created several television shows for ABC. Smuggler works with directors such as Chris Smith and Bennett Miller. Smuggler also has 15 pieces of television work as part of the MOMA’s permanent collection in New York.

Smuggler is currently producing "Holy War", a documentary that takes a look at religious fundamentalism.

Music Videos

"division" - with directors Jaron Albertin, HAPPY, Brian Beletic, Ben Mor, Jon Watts, Jonnie Ross, Snorri Bros, and Stylewar.

They have created videos for The Rapture, Lady Sovereign, TV On The Radio, Gnarls Barkley, The Hives, Franz Ferdinand, Nas, T.I., Juvenile, Kaiser Chiefs, Black Eyed Peas, Fatboy Slim, and Cee-Lo.

Long Form Work

Smuggler has created several long form works for Adidas, Officemax, Sony, and the Ebay "Let Them Post" campaign.

Ecko Viral Ad

The Ecko viral ad "Still Free" depicts graffiti artists breaking into Andrews Air Force Base and tagging Air Force One. The internet hoax was released to a few websites. It was later picked up by the internet community, eventually reaching over 17,000 websites. The Still Free website currently has over 115 million viewers.
