Route description
The route connects U.S. Route 138 in Julesburg to the Nebraska border, totaling approximately a mile. No corresponding highway in Nebraska connects with State Highway 11.
History
The route was established around 1971, before the route number was used in various locations around the state. Since the year it was established, the routing has not been changed, and has always connected US 138 to the Nebraska border.[2]
