He is a notable character in, and author of one chapter of the "New York Times" best-selling book "". Fact|date=October 2008 He also appeared at a function to help promote the release. Elise was the second guru (after Mystery) [ [http://www.charismaarts.com/meetus/juggler Wayne (Juggler) Elise - Charisma Arts ] ] to hold "in-field" workshops for men looking to improve their skills with women, where men are taken out and encouraged to approach women, in order that their actions may be analysed and corrected. Elise focuses on genuinely connecting with people, rather than the use of canned material or routines, in order to demonstrate qualities to a woman, get physical, generate fun and laughter, and better understand a woman's world. In a podcast on his website he described his job as 'teaching the science of charisma'.
