Track+ is a general-purpose web-based project-management and bug tracking tool.

Since version 3.1.2 GPL (dated 02/2008) Track+ is no longer open-source software, but the original project still exists at SourceForge, and the newer versions are available at no cost for up to five users and for some non-profit and open source users. Track+ should not be confused with Trac, another web-based and open-source project-management tool.

Track+ relies on an installed web server or application server, such as Apache Tomcat or JBoss and a database management system, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, to perform its work. Issues can be submitted by anybody with appropriate access rights, and may be assigned to a particular responsible person. Various status updates for each bug are allowed, together with user notes, attachments and other issue references. It is possible to submit issues and comments to issues by e-mail, and it is possible to exchange project data with MS Project.

Track+'s notion of an issue is very generic; for instance, feature requests, requirements, risks, bugs, etc. are issues as well.

Requirements

See the supplier web site, which includes the following requirements:

* A compatible database server (often a version of MySQL or Oracle)
* A suitable web server or application server, e.g. Tomcat, JBoss etc.
* A suitable mail transfer agent reachable via SMTP
