town located in theChernivtsi Oblast (province) of westernUkraine , north of the border withRomania . It is the administrative center of theStorozhynetskyi Raion (district), and is located approximately 20 km south-west of the oblast capital,Chernivtsi .Storozhynets is located in the historic region of
