Buinen (coord|52|56|N|6|50|E|type:city(390)) is a town in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is a part of the municipality of Borger-Odoorn, and lies about 18 km north of Emmen.

In 2001, the town of Buinen had 390 inhabitants.
