March 12 ,1987 and laid down its function onJanuary 17 ,1991 . The cabinet was the formed after the 1987 elections. It laid down its function after the formation of theCabinet Kohl IV , which was formed following the 1990 elections.This cabinet oversaw theGerman Reunification .The cabinet had the following composition:

Jürgen Warnke (CSU) succeeds Klein as Minister of Economic Cooperation. *December 19 ,1990 - De Maizière leaves the cabinet.
