- Harrowbed
A harobed is a piece of farm machinery like a
combine harvester that picks up hay bales and stacks them on a bed with atie tier in a pile approx convert|10|ft|m|abbr=on. wide, convert|14|ft|m|abbr=on. long and convert|8|ft|m high. Once the harobed is full, it delivers the hay to a storage area such as a barn where it neatly stacks the piles of hay bales next to each other. Before the harobed was invented all hay bales were stacked by hand. With a harobed a farmer can stack his hay simply the way it comes off the machine, or he can hirehay buck s to "top off" the stack and fill in the areas the harobed does not fit.
