The county also contains the towns ofSława , lying convert|18|km|mi|0|abbr=on north-west of Wschowa, andSzlichtyngowa , convert|10|km|mi|0|abbr=on south of Wschowa.The county covers an area of convert|624.82|km2|sqmi|1. As of 2006 its total population is 38,958, out of which the population of Wschowa is 14,573, that of Sława is 3,893, that of Szlichtyngowa is 1,348, and the rural population is 19,144.
