Vasant Purushottam Kale Born on 25 March 1933, popularly known as 'Va Pu' was a renowned
Marathi writer. He penned short stories, novels, biographical sketches and wrote over 60 books. Some of his well-known books include "Partner", "Vapurza", "Hi Waat Ektichi" and "Thikri". More than an author, he was a "katha kathan kar" (a story teller).according to his philosophy an human being is more important than this materialistic word. life is a game of situations every individual has to enjoy it by some or the other way. feelings are more important, you can win a situation but you will lose a person so give importance to feeling than situations. The humour in his writings arises from the way he brings forth the small quirks in human nature, which makes us laugh and realise that we are actually laughing at ourselves too. In his book partner he wrote "AS you Write more and more personal it becomes more and universal" V.P. Kale was also an architect. He was also a follower ofOsho and his writing reflects thephilosophy ofAcharya Rajanish .
