Central Highlands (Victoria)
- Central Highlands (Victoria)
The Central Highlands area of Victoria is situated east of Ballarat, south of Bendigo, north of Melbourne, west of the Alpine areas and into the Great Dividing Range. Major towns of the highlands include Castlemaine, Creswick, Daylesford, Gisborne, Kyneton and Woodend.
Much controversy surrounds the area as a direct result of it being under threat of logging.
