"The Long Absence" ( _fr. Une aussi longue absence) is a 1961 film directed by Henri Colpi. It tells the story of Therese (Alida Valli), a café owner mourning the mysterious loss of her husband sixteen years ago; she then meets a tramp who turns out to be her husband suffering from amnesia, and tries to bring back his memory.

"The Long Absence" shared the Palme d'Or prize with the film "Viridiana" at the Cannes Film Festival in 1961.
