Japan . He was a researcher at NTT Labs, and worked at Microsoft's Japanese subsidiary. He holds an electrical engineering degree fromWaseda University inTokyo . WhenBrad Silverberg and a few other executives from Microsoft, together with a couple people fromAT&T Wireless , foundedIgnition (venture capital company) , Satoshi Nakajima joined Ignition as a partner but with the full intention of starting a company from there. After about eight months in Ignition, he used its fundings to form UIEvolution.UIEvolution has created a technology solution which it has used to produce pervasive, cross-platform software for a variety of devices including

On December 17, 2007,
Square Enix Inc. announced (press release: [http://www.square-enix.com/jp/company/e/news/2007/download/20071217en_25.pdf] )that it had transferred all shares of UIEvolution stock to a Seattle, Washington-based third party, thus divesting themselves completely of UIEvolution. The name of the new shareholder has not yet been publicly announced.
