Jogye Order ofKorean Buddhism . It is located on the southern slopes ofDeoksungsan inDeoksan-myeon ,Yesan County , in the province ofChungcheongnam-do ,South Korea .Sudeoksa was one of very few temples not destroyed during the Imjin Invasion in the 1590s. Its main hall is South Korea's oldest wooden building, having been constructed during the
Goryeo dynasty in 1308. This hall, or "daeungjeon" (H:大雄殿), is South Korean National treasure 49.ee also
