April 16 ,1915 —August 16 ,1997 ) was an Irish playwright and actor. His plays have been performed throughout the world, and he collaborated with, amongst others,John Tavener ,Laurence Olivier andTyrone Guthrie .He is survived by his wife,
Eileen Essell , who has a successful film career. She has appeared in "Duplex ", "Finding Neverland ", "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory " (2005), "The Producers " and other films and TV programs.Play list
