"Grihshobha" (ASIN B00007AXOS) is a Hindi-medium magazine aimed at Indian woman. The magazine was started in 1979 as a monthly by the Delhi Press Group in Hindi. Since its inception, Grihshobha has enjoyed wide readership in the Hindi belt of the country. It carries features on housekeeping, cookery, knitting, interior decoration, beauty care, dress designing, hobbies and handicraft, besides helping women understand social, national as well as universal issues. It focuses on women's issues, and often features racy short stories, fashion, recipes, advice columns, and comments on socialites and current events. The total readership is estimated to be about 98,63,000.

Language editions of Grihshobha

In 1989, the first language edition of the magazine was launched in Gujarati, the language of the western Indian state of Gujarat. This was soon followed by language editions in Marathi (state of Maharashtra) in 1990 and Kannada (state of Karnataka) in 1993. Other language editions that have been launched in recent years are: Tamil (Tamil Nadu) in 2002, Telugu (Andhra Pradesh) in 2003, Malayalam (Kerala) in 2004, and Bangla (West Bengal) in 2006.

The magazine is now published in 8 languages and is the only truly pan-Indian women's magazine. From April 2006 the Hindi edition was made fortnightly.

The Hindi edition sells more than 3,80,000 copies. Most of the language editions are leaders in their respective markets. The magazine has consistently ranked amongst the top 3 publications in various readership surveys by the National Readership Survey and Indian Readership Survey.
