Bircza IPA-pl| [|'|b|i|r|cz|a|] is a village in Przemyśl County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Bircza. Before World War II, the Bircza area was home to a large Jewish community. Nearly all of them were murdered during the ensuing Holocaust.
