The Clinton Historical Society is a non-profit, all volunteer organization based in Clinton, Connecticut dedicated to preserving the history of the town of Clinton and sharing that history with residents of Clinton and anyone who has interest. The Society was established in 1938.
The society maintains the Clinton Historical Society Museum in Andrews Memorial Town Hall and these other sites:
*The 1750 Elisha White House (known as Old Brick), furnished with antique furniture, paintings, toys and quilts, the oldest brick home between New Haven and New London.
* Buell Tool Museum, which has early tools and machines used by the Buell family
*George Flynn Library, the Society’s research facility, with documents, genealogical material, photographs, diaries, books, and papers from and about Clinton.
* Flower gardens with indigenous herbs and plants used in Colonial kitchens and households.
