National Assembly of Tajikistan

National Assembly of Tajikistan: The parliament of Tajikistan, the Supreme Assembly ("Majlisi Oli"), has two chambers. The upper house is the National Assembly ("Majlisi Milliy"). The Assembly has 33 members, 25 elected for a five year term by local majlisi deputies and 8 appointed by the president.
