Gyanvihar Universe: An ambitious education project founded by the late Shri Suresh Sharma along with its founder chairman
Sunil Sharma and Director Dr. Sudhanshu. The universe is a conglomerate of different educational schools including 10+2 schools, the Engineering College, the Management College, the Hotel Management College, the Pharmacy College, the College of Postgraduate Studies and the School of Education.Within ten years of its inception, the Gyanvihar Universe has emerged as a leading educational institute of India. With its dynamic infrastructure, which is one of the biggest educational infrastructures of the state it has become one of the most sought after institutions of North India. At present more than 6,000 students are studying in 32 different degree courses.
Looking to its excellent work in the field of education, The Rajasthan State Assembly unanimously passed a bill on 26 March 2008 declaring it, the first Research and development based university of the state. on 16 April the Governor of Rajasthan signed the Suresh Gyanvihar university Act 2008. As Act on 16 of 2008.
The foundation stone of Gyanvihar was laid down by Achrya Shree Purushottam Uttam, famous academician and freedom fighter, at Malviya Nagar Jaipur Campus on
19 February 1994 .On
7 April 1994 it started working as a primary institution. As the educational system was very innovative, it attracted people since its commencement. In 1997 it became a CBSE 10+2 school imparting education for all round development of students.GSET (Gyanvihar School of Engineering and Technology)
GSET was the first project of Gyanvihar in the field of higher education. It started working in 2000, and it is an
AICTE approved degree program affiliated toUniversity of Rajasthan . At present the intake capacity of GSET is 420 students per year in five branches: Computer with intake capacity of 120, Electronics and Communication with intake capacity of 120, Mechanical with intake capacity of 60, Information Technology with intake capacity of 60 and Electrical Engineering with intake capacity of 60. At present more than 1500 students are studying in GSET.Looking to the quality education of GSET many blue chip and Fortune 500 companies have visited for campus placement. These companies include Infosys, L&T, Mahindra and Mahindra, JCT, JCB, HCL, Punj Loyd, Ericsson, Indian Rayon, SYNTEL and many more.
Information Technology Program is one of the Best Program in country.
ISBM (International School of Business and Management)
Gyanvihar’s ISBM started working in 2003 offering an MBA which was again an
AICTE approved program with an intake capacity of 60. In 2004 a BBA program started under the umbrella of the ISBM with an intake capacity of 60. In 2005 PGDM, again an AICTE program, with intake capacity of 60 got started and in year 2006 MCA got started with an intake capacity of 60.At ISBM more than 600 students are taking their education in different management fields.
Gyanvihar School of Pharmacy
In 2003 the Gyanvihar School of Pharmacy started with intake capacity of 60 with the approval of AICTE. For this a beautiful round building was constructed and a lab for Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, a Museum and different machine rooms were constructed. At present 240 students are studying in Gyanvihar School of Pharmacy.it is very 420 university.
Gyanvihar School of Hotel Management
In 2003 Gyanvihar Universe started its school of hotel management. For this an eight storied tower was constructed to give a five star hotel look. The course is approved by AICTE and affiliated to the University of Rajasthan with an intake capacity of 60. At present 180 students are studying in this school.
Gyanvihar School of Post-Graduate Studies
In 2003 the Universe started its Post-Graduate school and started a Post Graduate degree program in advanced sciences like MSc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry. All these MSc programs have intake capacity of 30 and the main focus is on research and development.
