Gyan vihar is educational projected founded by late Suresh Sharma with Founder chairman Sunil Sharma and Director Dr Sudhanshu, Due to relentless effort of trio it has gain wide reputation in the field of technical education, The Foundation stone was laid down by Achraya Shree Purushottam Uttam on 19 february 1994, it started its proper functioning from 7th april 1994. Within a decades time it emerged as one the the most sought after institute of North India, due to its innovative research work and dynamic infrastructure.
To appriciate its excellent work in the field of education The Rajasthan State Assembly on 28th of March passed a bill, unanimously declaring Gyanvihar states first Research and Development based University. On 16th April The Governor of Rajasthan signed the Suresh Gyanvihar University Act 2008.
Gyanvihar presently working on almost all field of education, right from nursery education to higher education which include B.tech, M.tech, BBA, MBA, PGDM,BCA, MCA B. Pharm, M.Pharm, BHMCT, MHMCT, different M.sc programs in advance sciences, B.Ed, M.Ed, Doctoral and Post doctoral degree programs. The programs are having approval with different concerning regulatory bodies ie. CBSE, AICTE, NCTE, PCI and of course UGC. At present Gyanvihar has four academic campuses in Jaipur, where more than 6000 students are getting there education in different programs, Gyanvihar's Jagatpura campus is known for its dynamic infrastructure, where on 31 acre of land it has constructed more than 800,000 sq. feet builup area, it includes 150 fully equipped labs of different technical courses, which is considered as one of the most sophasticated campus of the state.
For quality education the institution give proper stress while appointing its faculties at present at gyanvihar 450 faculty member who, are having their background in different IITs,NITs and most prestigious institutes of country, are working to shapeup the carrier of students, the labour of faculties is now evident as almost all bluechip and fortune 500 companies which are working in India are frequently visiting Gyanvihar campus for their talent hunt (campus placement). It includes Infosys, Adani, Schnidier, Bosh, L&T, Syntel, Essential, Grassim, Hexaware, Patni, prudential, bajaj, erricson, JCB, JCT, Birla soft, L&T energy, Punj llyod, Fleet management and many more, only in last six months more than 74 companies has visited for campus placements.
