Aaton universal

Aaton universal

Aaton universal is a lens mount developed by the Aaton camera company for use with their 16 mm movie cameras. It is distinguished by its three-pronged flange, which can be oriented in any of three positions and is held in place with a friction locking ring. It is generally considered a minority-usage mount by virtue of the facts that not only it is solely used with Aaton cameras, but that Aaton has sold many more of its own cameras with an Arri PL mount than an Aaton universal mount, due to popular demand.
