Career
Born Dedrick Dwayne Fontenot in Louisiana, Gobert appeared in Poetic Justice and Higher Learning after making his film debut in Boyz n the Hood.
Death
Gobert died on November 19, 1994 after being fatally shot in the head with a .50 Desert Eagle during an argument over an illegal drag race in Mira Loma, California, six days short of his 23rd birthday.[1]
