LGC Forensics

LGC Forensics provides a comprehensive range of forensic services to law enforcement agencies in the UK.

LGC was founded over 150 years ago as the Laboratory of the Government Chemist. The company is now owned by the management and staff and funds managed by the investment group LGV Capital. LGC retains its statutory role as Government Chemist, acting as the referee in cases where there is a dispute over analytical results or their interpretation.

LGC has a number of sites across the uk. Its head office being in Teddington, with other sites based at Runcorn, Risley, Tamworth, Culham, and Bury.
