The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale, is an upscale enclosed shopping mall located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Originally it was known as Sunrise Key Shopping Center, but in 1980 the center was enclosed, redeveloped and renamed The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale.
Its anchors are Macy's, Dillard's, and Neiman Marcus.
History
As South Florida's premier shopping center, The Galleria was anchored by Saks Fifth Avenue, Burdine's and Jordan Marsh. Neiman Marcus was added in 1982 and Lord & Taylor in 1983. Today, The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale is the largest and most popular upscale regional shopping center in Broward County. The center is a retail hub which attracts shoppers from throughout the Fort Lauderdale metropolitan area and from around the world.
