Abraham Moss or Abraham Moss Learning Centre is an education and leisure centre situated on "Crescent Road" in the Crumpsall/Cheetham district of north Manchester, Lancashire, England, very close to Woodlands Road tram stop.
History
The school was burnt down by arson on May 15th, 1997 and rebuilt at a cost of £6m in 1999.
Facilities
It comprises a high school, an adult learning centre (City College), a library, professional recording studio and a large leisure centre with extensive facilities including an IsoSpa gym, sauna, two swimming pools, squash courts and a number of large halls for a variety of sports activities.
Curriculum
GCSEs available include basic arithmetic, politics and foreign languages.
Academic performance
It gets low GCSE results, being under the minimum expected for comprehensive schools, but average for Manchester LEA. It has no sixth form.
