"Eden Fire" is the debut album by the Swedish, melodic death metal band Sonic Syndicate. "Eden Fire" was also the first album to be released by the American record label, Pivotal Rockordings. Album background

The album is made up of three different segments and each segment has a continuous theme/concept throughout its tracks. [cite web|url =http://www.thegauntlet.com/bio/1558/Sonic-Syndicate.html|title=Sonic Syndicate Bio|accessdate=2007-04-20|publisher=The Gauntlet] Two of those segments consist of the previous demos "Black Lotus" and "Extinction". The songs from those demos were re-worked and re-recorded for this album. The other segment, "Helix Reign" consists of three new tracks. All the music featured on the album was written by Roger Sjunnesson and all the lyrics by Richard Sjunnesson.

Note

Some versions of the album include an intro track. It's a re-recorded version of "Mæstitia…" from their second demo Black Lotus.Track 7, Prelude to Extinction does appear on the Extinction section on Eden Fire but does not appear on the extinction demo. The reason for adding a new song to the section of the demo extinction is because of the name, theme and concept. Conclution, there are 4 new songs and not 3 on Eden Fire, track 1, 2, 3 and 7.
