Eden Prairie High School is a member of the
Lake Conference in theMinnesota State High School League . Eden Prairie High School has had a long history of dominance in football during the 1990s and early 21st century, culminating with a 16th in the nation ranking following a win at the 2006 state championship. Eden Prairie was also named the best athletics program in Minnesota bySports Illustrated in 2007. In the 2001-2002 school year Eden Prairie's athletic budget was $1,460,433.
