Woodside, Glasgow

Woodside is a district in the Scottish city of Glasgow. It is situated north of the River Clyde, betweenthe River Kelvin and the Forth and Clyde canal. For local information go to www.woodsideonline.org.uk/

Woodside's main claim to fame is in having the very first and grandest of Glasgow's Carnegie libraries, which were all deftly designed in the Edwardian Baroque style by James Robert Rhind.
