Early life and education
Prasoon Joshi was born
16 September ,1971 atAlmora inUttarakhand ,India , where he spent a part of his childhood, followed byRampur, Uttar Pradesh .After his schooling he did his MBA from
Institute of Management Technology , abusiness school located inGhaziabad inUttar Pradesh ,India .During his MBA education he was steer clear about his career in Advertising. He shun a lot many lucrative offer that he got after MBA from the prestigious IMT G. He struggled a lot in order to get into any advertisment firm.

He started his career with
Ogilvy & Mather (O&M), and after working there for over 10 years, he joinedMcCann-Erickson , in early 2002.Today, he is the Chairman (Asia Pacific) for
McCann-Erickson for south and south-east Asia, as well as a lyricist for many popularBollywood movies ; among them "Fanaa", "Rang De Basanti ", "Black" and "Hum Tum ", and has also created manyadvertisements ; because of which he has earned the title of "the adGuru ofIndia ".Career
