Ziauddin Ahmad Suleri (
Urdu : ضیاء الدین احمد سلہری) (or ZA Suleri; 1913-1999) was a notable journalist and writer fromPakistan . He served as Editor of Dawn and ThePakistan Times and founded theTimes of Karachi . He was outspoken and frequently jailed for his statements and activities. He was also called "Pip" (short for patriotic and preposterous). In 1965 he headed Military Public Relations directorate of Pakistan. In his early life he was an activist ofPakistan movement and wrote "My Leader", the first semi-biographical work in English on Pakistan’s founderMuhammad Ali Jinnah . He was also the chairman ofQuaid-i-Azam Academy . He died of a heart attack inLahore .Works
