"Open Sesame" is an album released by the funk band Kool & the Gang. The album was a disappointment, and received bad reviews from critics, some citing it as the "least funky" album of the band. However, the album still yielded the title track "Open Sesame" which achieved some success in the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. The album was one of three albums released in 1976.
