Raven Run Stakes

Raven Run Stakes

The Raven Run Stakes is a race for Thoroughbred horses run at Keeneland race course's Fall Meet each year. The Grade II Raven Run is open to fillies, aged three, willing to race seven furlongs on the dirt and offers a purse of $300,000.

Due to its support by Lexus beginning in 2005, the race is now referred to as the Lexus Raven Run Stakes and will be in its 11th running in 2008.

This race is named for the convert|374|acre|km2|sing=on nature sanctuary outside Lexington, Kentucky. There was also a three-year-old colt called Raven Run who, while vying for the lead at a Keeneland race, died on the track in 2000.
