Virginia . Most racers camp the night before in the Stokesville Campground that contains the theStokesville Observatory . The majority of the course is in theGeorge Washington National Forest . The far majority of the course is in Virginia with just a small section being inWest Virginia . The course covers theUSGS Topo Maps of Stokesville, Palo Alto, Reddish Knob and West Augusta. The course covers, as implied by the name, 100 miles and has nearly 12,500 feet of verticle climbing over that 100 miles.Results
